PPI - advice of previous settlements

Hi there, I am new to this thread and hoping someone could please advise!
at the beginning of 2010 I used a PPI company to claim back missold PPI from a number of Blackhorse Loans I previously had and also a secure loan with FirstPlus.
I accepted all of the goodwill gestures at the time [however looking back now I wish I handnt]
Due to the ruling last year, has anyone had any experience in claiming the rest of the amount, or whether this can actually be done!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you
Claire

Hiya Scott, did you just write to First Plus asking them to refund the rest
Thanks

Hi Claire,
Yup, just wrote them a letter asking for the remaining PPI, interest and 8% simple interest and exactly 8 weeks later a cheque arrived.
Just write to them and ask for it back, they seem to be behaving themselves at the moment.0 -
If a claims co was used, make sure that you tell the banks that you are dealing with these claims now and do not have a third party involved, if you do not do this and do not have a letter from the claims co to say they have finished with your claims and you have paid the bill, the claims co will be notified and you will get a bill.0
