Is this to do with mis sell of ppi?, if it is , have you had a final response from the bank?.0

Just read your post about MPPI, ring FOS and give them the details and they will send you the form to fill in, put what dunstonh suggested on the other thread.Twice we tried to claim, once her had to go long term sick through an injury but because he got paid for so long we couldnt claim on the ppi. That may actually be an area of complaint depending on how long is long term.
If the sick pay covered for a year then you had no need of the ppi for this, if you had life insurance too this would help as you did not need the ppi for life cover, as you could have repaid the Mortgage with this.0 -
Hi, yes it is, they said they didnt think it was mis sold and more or less told us to go to the FOS. We got full pay for 6 months then reduced pay for a further 6 months. We had plenty of life cover too0

Use the reasons for sickness and that you had life cover, that is 2 claims you could not have made on the ppi.
Good luck.0 -
Thank you I will do that, thank you0

The FOS will want to see a final written response from the orginal creditor normally. If you already have this they get the claim banged in to the FOS asap. Unfortunately there is already a long queue ahead of you, BUT it will get even bigger if the banks start sending out lenders inviting possible claims as per the recent FOS announcement.
