Praise for Yodel..
Sending a big YO to Yodel for delivering my 'Sea of Red' poppy to me in one piece ...... I watched the lovely Yodel lady...carefully take it out of the front seat of the car where she had lovingly surrounded it with a Winter fleece ...she then walked up my drive with it covered by her umbrella to protect it from the…

Small vent about BT
I'm a BT customer (for my sins). My marketing preferences are all set to 'no marketing' and these have been honoured until Tuesday when I received a call from BT trying to flog me Infinity. After hanging up, I called BT to check my preferences and to let them know that I'd received a sales call despite asking that I don't…

EasyJet - they CHANGE the price at the last minute - is this illegal?
I chose my flights on easyjet site. The flights were put in my basket. I went through to payment. I put in all the details and on the final page it showed me the total amount I would pay. I hit 'confirm' and a window popped up saying one of the flights had changed price! It was now £6 more - did I want to continue? I hit…

Generous responses to complaints.
As I have mentioned previously on this forum, I do more than my fair share of complaining. Here are some of my more recent complaints: Wilko I complained on their Facebook page about their ridiculous curtain pole brackets that were ruining our wall after only being up for one night. They sent me a £15 voucher. Argos I…

Scam Call today BEWARE
Had an interesting call this morning which I proved was a scam. Phane rang, person other end in broken English said he was calling from "Accident Verification Service". Immediately I thought this could be a suspect call so I decided to play along to see what happens. I was asked if I had had an accident in the last 3…

Praise for Ebay seller
I recently purchased some very expensive perfume on Ebay. It arrived around a week later - I wasn't in any particular rush for it, so that was fine! When I opened the box, the seller had included an apology note; They had been on holiday and said they were sorry that it was posted so late... and also included a cheque for…

Praise!! - nhs
I have been unfortunate that I have needed assistance at two of our local hospitals (broken elbow after a fall and a suspicious lump) and quite frankly the staff at both hospitals have been exemplary.

Shops/restaurants and breastfeeding.
I thought I would create a thread of positivity as an alternative to my Argos thread. My baby is coming up 6 months and has been breastfed throughout. I struggled initially as it turned out she had undiagnosed posterior tongue tie, so she was not feeding effectively and needed to eat even more frequently than a typical…
