Groupon - False Information on Listing
Hi I saw a bed on Groupon and not only did the price attract me but also the fact that I could choose my delivery day. As I work Monday to Friday and don't get home until 6, this appealed to me as I'd be able to arrange it for when someone would be in. I forked out the money and awaited a call from someone to ask me when…

Keyed my car and I have CCTV proof
Hi So Monday 17th Nov I went to my new car to noticed it had been keyed all along the drivers side and bonnet. I made an initial police report via 101. I went to work for my nightshift that night and then went home to review home CCTV footage on the morning of Tues 18th. I found footage of a neighbor crouching round by the…

I know my rights! Vent at lady in local paper!
One of those lovely - "I know my rights" newspaper articles! What they seem to fail to mention, is that if you only want breast in a set meal such as a bargain bucket, it is possible, but you do have to pay extra.

Gil Stauffer Domestic Removals Feedback
I was moving from Spain to Cyprus so I needed to find a moving company. After choosing between a couple of companies, I eventually picked Gil Stauffer Mudanzas, a removals company based in Spain. Their rates were a bit high but i did not mind since I like the assurances they gave me. Fast forward a couple of weeks and my…

Chemist Direct Cancelled Order
Hi has anybody received orders from Chemist Direct recently. They were offering some fantastic deals last week or so they say. My order was cancelled due to lack of stock? The items are still in stock on the website but at a higher price. Customer service say that they have a problem with their website at present. Perhaps…

Sky bullying phone tactics
Well my sky phone and broadband is about to end after it's one year contract. I just had a phone call from a rep pushing me to take sky tv. I told him before he gave me the speel that I had just bought a hd recorder with live tv in it. He agreed it was good and carried on trying to flog me the tv. It took me 3 attempts at…

TopCashBack 'Tell-A-Friend' Policy? Poor to me!
Guys I am really annoyed at TopCashBack. They offer a tell-a-friend option to refer people to use their service. Are any of you aware or think fair that if the 'friend' does not sign up using the link you provide them immediately you don't get the benefit of that person signing up, even when they use the same email? I…

Amazon Logistics
I have ordered a mobile phone from Amazon and it was due to be delivered yesterday via Amazon Logistics . When it had not arrived by 6pm I had a look at the tracking and apparently it was delivered at 2-46 pm !! [handed to resident] I contacted Amazon who think this is normal practice to say something has been delivered…

Parcel2Go - negligent lost parcel & customer service a WARNING
Hi all For one I don't normally post on forums but I'm a little miffed. A few weeks ago I sold an item on ebay value £75 and decided to post the item via sourcing a courier on the Parcel2Go website - the courier I selected was Yodel 48hrs. A week after posting I got a message from the buyer saying that he hadn't received…

FurnitureUK.co.uk - Fraudulent behaviour
Issuing bouncing cheques, huge delays in delivery, misrepresenting products on their website & refusal to reply to customers' concerns are all complaints by over 55 customers posting on the internet. I received a misdescribed item - dark grey stained wood, described as "golden" pine & with a matching photo. I asked for a…

Car Tax new system - 'con'
If I buy a car I am, apparently, required to tax it myself, immediately. Fair enough. If that car is second hand and already taxed the DVLA will, it seems, refund the seller for COMPLETE months of unused tax. It appears, then, that during the month of transfer both the buyer and the seller will have to pay tax for that…

Making an official complaint about Student Finance
Has anyone done this and got a result? I have had the misfortune of dealing with SF and an ongoing issue since June and it is still unresolved. I have had enough and I am furious. I won't go into every detail as it would take too long (took the SF advisor 15 mins yesterday just to read all the notes on my account). In a…

Asda Kippers Rip-off
Was about to cook my kipper breakfast this morning, when I noticed the label saying "Tuna" and £4. I bought a pair of kippers and it looks like the wrong label has been applied. I rang Asda this morning and they told me to return item together with receipt. This is okay but only problem is it is 4 miles away. What can I…

Praise - Euro Car Parts
Thanks to the local (Wokingham) Euro Car Parts branch. Reserved a rear wiper for the car to collect in branch. Received a call from a member of staff there no more than 10 minutes later to inform me the part was ready to collect. Went to the branch, paid, and was out again within 2 minutes. Top quality service, considering…

So glad I signed up with Equifax! Tougher laws needed?
A few years ago my Dad wanted to open another bank account and couldnt. Long story short, someone had wracked up £1500 with Littlewoods, goods delivered to a linked address he knew nothing of, and he had a CCJ in another part of the country he wasn't aware of for 5 years. I signed up with Equifax straight away. I've just…

Council not thought this through, new bins
To encourage us to recycle more our council have given us new waste wheelie bins, half the size if the previous bins for general waste. However, because they are half the size of the previous bins they are also half the width. Think of what happens to a long skinny bin sitting at the edge of the pavement when a slight gust…

One (and only one ) Tesco £5 voucher when you spend £40, no matter how many times
Did anybody else think that if you spent £40 you would get a £5 voucher for each and every order you placed during the promotion time? I placed a number of orders over £40 in the set timeframe, and have been told that only one voucher will be awarded. I feel conned.
