FurnitureUK.co.uk - Fraudulent behaviour

Issuing bouncing cheques, huge delays in delivery, misrepresenting products on their website & refusal to reply to customers' concerns are all complaints by over 55 customers posting on the internet.

I received a misdescribed item - dark grey stained wood, described as "golden" pine & with a matching photo. I asked for a refund, and then heard nothing from them until making representations against them 2 weeks later. Then they sent me a blatantly lying email saying they haven't received anything from me. But I had sent a further email & 3 letters. Apparently this is a reported trend with this company - to not reply when the customer has a problem with their service.

I'd be grateful to know about any other users' difficulties with them.
