Asda Direct - Zero Customer Service
8th March I ordered 5 fence panels on a 14 working day delivery - they were eventually delivered 5 weeks later with 1 panel damaged. Now been told I have to wait a further 4 weeks for the replacement panel to be delivered. So that's 9 weeks until I can complete my project when delivery is stated as less than 3 weeks. So I…

ASDA the store who dont want you to save money
I shop at the Asda ventura store and for a period of about 18 months I have been going to asda and when there walk around the car park looking for asda receipts . Strange I know but there is a really good reason for doing this . I watched a program over 2 years ago where a lady would go to her local asda store 3 times a…

5 Star Amazon
We always read about poor service from companies, however I must congratulate Amazon. I bought a smart TV from Amazon in November 2013. It developed a fault and I contacted LG and they would not replace only repair. I contacted Amazon and they immediately replaced the TV with a free collection from my house.

Hermes speedy delivery
A lot of negative threads on parcel deliveries but credit when it's due. Dropped off a 5-10kg parcel at a drop off shop Saturday morning 11am, couldn't believe it when it was marked as delivered at 10-30 Monday morning. Thank you Hermes.:T

Electric toothbrushes heads.
Why are replacement heads for electric toothbrushes so bloody expensive? It's not like they have any fancy electronics in them, they are only pieces of moulded plastic, the same as any cheap manual toothbrush.

Praise: WWW.V2DT.CO.UK
I had a pile of old mini dv tapes which needed transferring to DVD for a milestone birthday gift. I used www.video2dvdtransfers.co.uk and they were brilliant. It was about £6 per tape plus postage. The dvds were super, even though the tapes were about 15 years old. (One even more) It is free to post to them, just have to…

PICANOVA Canvas
The canvas sent to me is awful. At least 50% is black. Following complaints they replied: "Please note that the application of paint on the canvas prints is higher than i.e. on photo paper. This means that through the structure of the canvas more colour has to be applied to guarantee reasonable ink coverage. Inevitably…

WARNING!! Do not buy at Currys. Guarantee conditions are joke!
Besides of the need to push unlimited buttons to get to talk to a human being, wait for ages listening to "Sorry for the delay....," shifting you from one department to another —not without asking every time every detail again—, you have to learn that the promised Guarantee is a joke. The terms allow them 28 days to repair…

Swiftcure in Belvedere
Always a first time for a rant :) Swiftcure were booked around 3/4 weeks ago to do a damp survey of my property as there are a couple of areas where some work is probably required. The company was the recommended supplier for our managing agent who looks after the block of flats. Therefore although I would have preferred…

Bookmaker Victor Chandler SCAM - Refusing to payout $37,000
I am posting this on behalf on the user himself because he doesn't speak English properly and he was using the Hebrew version website of Victor Chandler (also known as BetVictor.com). Basically he made deposits of approximately $10,000 in total and he managed to increase this balance to over $50,000. He never made any…

Really annoying DJ's
I give up. I thought about complaining to the BBC but they would only pigeonhole my thoughts. Has Steve Wright ever - ever played a track from beginning to end and not interrupted the play ? He always comes in with some banal comment or even tries to sing the words. I want to hear the track right through. And I don't see a…

ASDA again!
It's the supermarket I use the most because it's nearest and cheapest I regularly boggle at the stupidity of the store/some of the staff, though. Today, I was told I can't bring a basket into the changing rooms. Why 'it's a shopping centre and it's security'. It's ok to bring large shoulder bags/rucksacks and TROLLEYS in…

Tip Top Electronics: WARNING!
For anyone looking to purchase anything from https://www.tiptopelectronics.co.uk I have one word of advice.....DON'T I purchased a projector from them on January 14th. The projector was faulty and had to be returned. They arranged for a courier to collect it from my house and take it back in exchange for a new one. A…

Royal mail lost my package.
Hi, I got one of those royal mail cards through door saying that as I wasn't in to collect my item at local sorting office. Daughter said she would pick it up but forgot and then went away for a day with the card in her bag. I went to the local office with my passport and a bank statement and they said they couldn't give…

Parking Fines, ASDA
Ok, I seem to have caused myself a bit of a problem here. I was made redundant, and took a while to get myself a job. By the time I finally managed to, I was literally broke and all my debts have been mounted up. I have so little money until I get paid, I am struggling to even buy myself food. I have to commute quite far,…

Marks & Spencer cafe: breast-feeding mother asked to leave & feed baby in toilets:OK?
Witnessed by my wife just the other day. A poor young mother, having to breast feed her baby in the toilets because the staff in the M&S cafe had asked her to leave and use the toilets instead. And, she said, it was the second time it had happened. Nothing outrageous, just a perfectly nice, normal woman wanting to feed her…

Vent - Workmen in house
Just letting off steam, we currently have three workmen putting a window in, first thing they asked for when they arrived at eight was coffee, then more coffee and to top it all they've now decided to help themselves, I walked into the kitchen to find them in the fridge getting the milk. I let them see I wasn't happy, it's…

Co-op - Deteriorating Retail Performance
Today's Telegraph Business Section, reporting on Lord Myners' resignation from the Co-op Board, refers to questions being asked about the deteriorating performance of the Retail group. My local small Co-op supermarket regularly has offers displayed on posters or on shelf labels, which are not always applied at the tills…

Stanstead Airport Set down
I took my parents to the airport this morning. You have to pay to use the drop off point. £2 for 10 minutes or £3 for 15. I was there for less than a minute. I think most people will be there for 2-3 minutes max. I don't really know how they can justify £2 for stopping less than a minute.
