Swiftcure in Belvedere

Always a first time for a rant :)


Swiftcure were booked around 3/4 weeks ago to do a damp survey of my property as there are a couple of areas where some work is probably required. The company was the recommended supplier for our managing agent who looks after the block of flats.


Therefore although I would have preferred to get an appointment quicker than 3+ weeks, it should be cheaper for the block and was the correct way to proceed.


Fast forward to last Friday and Swiftcure called me to confirm that I would be in today (Monday). I had booked leave to do this and confirmed I would be in.


This morning I've moved the furniture near where I think the problem is (which required taking a few things apart). Not very easy.


Then I get a phonecall telling me they can't make it today... Apparently the member of staff has a family issue from last week and while they thought he would be in, he is now off for another week!


Ok, not very happy... but when can they come again? In May! Could they offer an out of hours slot? A weekend slot? No...


At this point, I think they were having a laugh and I refused their May booking.


Anyway Swiftcure in Belvedere... jokers and my first real rant!
