Birthday wine voucher from Pizza express not valid in Scotland
I was delighted to receive a birthday voucher for a free bottle of Prosecco from Pizza express. But disappointed that the small print says that I can only get soft drinks because I am in Scotland :( The voucher T&Cs say...... "Valid when two or more people order two or more full-priced main courses, to eat in until 16th…

Rant - Very Website/Account Problems
This is a long story and to prevent you nodding off, the following is highly condensed! Bought a Dyson DC34 Handheld vacuum at the start of December using introductory code (20% off first order). The item arrived a couple of days later but was damaged (not Yodel's fault I hasten to add). Very couldn't/wouldn't simply…

Sky TV "gesture of goodwill"
Arranged for broadband and On Demand with Sky TV which they ballsed up in spectacular fashion. I complained and was given 6 months half-price movie subscription as a gesture of goodwill. I thought this was reasonable, appreciated the gesture and drew a line under the issue. It transpires that 6 months half-price movies is…

raspberry ketones - £3.48 TRIAL sample, is a rip off scam, do not buy
I know this was already posted to the forums in the past, but unfortunately I'd not read it and I was ripped off by the current raspberry ketone scam. I first read about raspberry ketones in a very small article in one of the UK newspapers. It gave very little information, and only stated one could buy a trial of this "all…

Wrong sweets at £land
I was OUTRAGED last night when I went to £land to get those sexy exploding glass valentine bear globes. I was walking down the sweet aisle looking for some sweets and on the bottom shelf - within arms reach of children - not adults so how they expect me to purchase them I do not know - I picked up some sweets that were of…

BT - Useless
I have had intermittent broadband for around a month and on the 25th Jan it finally packed in. The home hub died but I managed to revive it and I get an internet connection for around 30 minutes on and then off for 30 minutes where the home hub needs restarting. The wifi doesn't work at all and only one Ethernet port…

The agony behind angora wool
This comes with a WARNING. GRAPHIC FOOTAGE. I also looked at Olivia's video, did not dare to look at others after that. How cruel is this world we live in and all the cruelty inflicted by the human race . http://action.peta.org.uk/ea-action/action?ea.client.id=5&ea.campaign.id=23870…

Kenwood poor quality!
We have just bought a Kenwood food processor, the Pro model so thought it would be good. After unpacking it we realised it was made of thin plastic and everything felt cheap, not the quality we expected from this brand. It is now going back and we are looking for a quality replacement which will not be Kenwood.

Cancelling a TV License!!
I ‘cancelled’ my tv license in July last year with the reason that I no longer watch TV. I still lived there but did not watch live TV. I received a confirmation email from them stating: “Since you've let us know you don't need a licence, you won't receive any letters or emails from us for almost two years. We'll get in…

Hit and run b******s
Returned to my parked car to find that some delightful soul has crashed into it breaking the bumper and headlight trim and drove off without leaving any details. A quick google reveals the bumber to be £405 to replace and the trim £30, plus a respray to match the car and fitting. Can't see much change from £650. The car is…

Music Magpie - terrible service
Over Christmas I sorted out a number of cds which I sent to this company late December. I'm still awaiting payment even though the payment 'was sent' some three weeks ago. Three unreplied to emails over the sace of two weeks (they suggest they should reply in 48 hours) and coupled with this their timescales on their FAQ…

VENT - EE have lost me as a customer
I have been a customer with what was initially One2One, then T-Mobile and now EE since 1997. I have kept the same number since 1997 and have owned a variety of devices during that time, starting with the brick-like Motorola Graphite. As a result of a series of operational and customer service errors, I wrote an email to…

Dangerous Poundland Glitter Globes
Poundland are selling glitter globes with teddy bears inside. They claim they are aimed at adults for Valentine's Day!! My partner's 2-year-old dropped one in store and it shattered leaving very thin jagged shards of glass which could easily sever an artery. Poundland refuse to withdraw them stating that they are not toys…

Bradshaw and Lloyd - Great service
Hey Guys, Knowing that a lot of companies don't get the praise they deserve when they go the extra mile I thought I had to post after some great service from Richard at Bradshaw and Lloyd. I have recently ordered some shoes from the Bradshaw and Lloyd website, as I have rather large feet which often fall between 2 sizes…

WARNING - Beko Tumble Dryer fire risk! 2012 versions
Although I'm aware Beko have warned about dryers manufactured in 2011, this warning is for those made in 2012. We've got a DRCS68 condenser sensor dryer, just over 2 yrs old. The dryer made a loud popping noise (like a cork popping from a bottle of champagne), then the smoke, and the smell of burning. Luckily we have…
