This is a long story and to prevent you nodding off, the following is highly condensed!

Bought a Dyson DC34 Handheld vacuum at the start of December using introductory code (20% off first order).

The item arrived a couple of days later but was damaged (not Yodel's fault I hasten to add). Very couldn't/wouldn't simply replace the item, I had to return it and place new order.

Placed new order but I couldn't get the discount as I already had an account (!) - so went through one of their sales team who placed it for me applying the discount.

The replacement arrived a day or two later and was fine.

I couldn't log-on to their website to view my account status and/or make a payment as the email address I'd originally used and the email address that the sales team used for the new order wouldn't work.

Get a late payment charge - phoned up & sorted it. Given the account number by the agent.

A month later my statement arrives and there's another late payment charge! The account number on the statement is not quite the same as that given by the agent - differing in the last digit.

Went to website to login & make a payment. The account number (as printed on the statement) which you can use to login doesn't work, nor do either of my email addresses - even though I receive various emails from time-to-time from Very on one of them.

Phone up, get late payment charge removed (not, however the interest they had charged as well) and clear the account.

Send email to Very detailing the account login problems. It seems that no-one in India (or wherever their technical department is) can either read English or understand (although clearly laid out as above) that none of the information (the account number or my email addresses) allow me to access my account on-line.

The only replies I get from very are generic email replies (If you can't log on, try using a different browser/clear the browser cache, etc, etc). Clicking on the "forgotten password link" either tells me that the email address supplied can't be found or (lately) that a reset email with link has been sent - but none appears in my inbox.

In short (and thanks for reading this so far), the problem isn't being resolved and the staff at Very (at least those picking up my emails) seem to be incapable of reading what has been written or, having read it, understanding what the problem is. Result - one very angry customer.

Just be warned, if you have problems logging into your on-line Very account, just give up and shop somewhere else. The staff at Very (their technical/IT department I'm guessing) are totally clueless.

I also queried how much I have eventually paid for the item that I ordered in early December - but they haven't had the courtesy to reply to that query either!

BE WARNED!
