Asda-Children's school wear offer
I placed an order for trousers, sweaters and cotton sports shirts for my pre-school grandson on the 7th June (on offer) and a part order was delivered. On return from my holiday I chased the remaining order only to be told it was cancelled on the 9th and my money refunded. All items ordered were supposedly in stock. They…

m&s contact email?
Hi Does anyone have a contact email for M&S? I have tried emailing them through their website customer services form but just had a completely irrelevant response from a "no-reply" address, so I can't even reply. It wasn't a complaint about something I bought, so I expect they aren't concerned... In particular any address…

Neptune's Basket?
Has anyone heard or experienced this business before? Just wondered what others thought? On Friday I was working from home and had a knock on the door. It's a company called Neptune's Basket - they basically deliver a range of frozen fish, some of which is just filleted fish but others are prepared items. Being completely…

VENT: Leisuredays Insurance. Wot's your Mum's maiden name?
Leisuredays is an online offshoot of a caravan insurance specialist. It concentrates on static caravans and park homes, as distinct from insurers who think caravan = tourer. I've no idea if Leisuredays is any good because to get a quote from it you are required to give your mother's maiden name as part of a compulsory…

Healthy Happy Horses / Prestige Equine
My cousin (who lives in Australia) ordered over £100 worth of goods from the above mentioned 'company' last month, but the items haven't arrived. She has emailed them a few times but no reply has been received. Their web site looks reasonably professional and gives a proper contact address (based in Waltham Cross…

VENT: Call Centre Managers. . .
. . . and anyone else running 'Customer Services' departments. Question: do any of them ever telephone the departments they head to see if they, as a customer, can make head or tail of what's being said? I'm now on day three of a Customer Service endurance test whereby the information I provide is repeated back to me in an…

Praise for Vodafone
Due to a misunderstanding my internet connection, supplied with by Vodafone, was cut off yesterday morning. I went to see my mother who made a call for me (I have ASD and don't generally speak on the phone - or speak at all!). It took a few minutes to get through to the right department. A very nice woman offered to ring…

Praise for JML
This is my first thread and I just wanted to recommend JML After seeing a post on here for halogen ovens in their sale I ordered one. It arrived in only 2 days, I missed the delivery but called the number on the card and the driver came back a couple of hours later as he was still in the area. When I unpacked the oven it…

Vent ask
Went to ASK on Friday and shared had the antipasta sharing starter which was 5p short of £11. For that we got 4 mushrooms, 2 prawns, 3 tiny pieces of garlic bread, a tiny salad, and a bowl of mayo, along with 7 small olives. Felt this was pretty poor especially if you compare it to the slightly cheaper zizzi shared starter…

I need to vent about Argos:
I'm not sure where to start, here is the short version of what has happened:* I ordered this item at the end of May and had to wait over two weeks just to organise the delivery of the item. * It was delivered on Tuesday and it is seriously damaged. The inside of the freezer has a large crack! * I phoned your customer…

Cashback from NPOWER.
I've joined npower via Top CashBack on the 3rd of March. Transaction was tracked correctly and reported by npower back to Top CashBack, who displayed it as L130 pending (waiting for my account with npower to go live). Three months and still nothing, so contacted Top CashBack, but told it may sometimes take that long. Then…

People who prey on the elderly
I have just got off the phone from my mother having come close to bursting a blood vessel as a result of what she told me. Earlier in the week she was in her front garden when a man in a van stopped & offered to jet blast her drive and paths. I would estimate that I could do the job in 3 hours, four at the most. She had…
