Due to a misunderstanding my internet connection, supplied with by Vodafone, was cut off yesterday morning.
I went to see my mother who made a call for me (I have ASD and don't generally speak on the phone - or speak at all!).
It took a few minutes to get through to the right department. A very nice woman offered to ring us back - and did so immediately. She initially wanted to speak to me - understandably! But was really understanding when things were explained. With her help we have arranged for Vodafone to accept mum acting for me at all times.
She then dealy with the cut-off account. It was a simple misunderstanding, due to a change of address. Even as we were talking she said everything was sorted and my connection was back - and it was!
It was really refreshing to have quick, efficient service and a compassionate willingness to deal with a customer with a disability.
Well done Vodafone and thankyou!
