Went to ASK on Friday and shared had the antipasta sharing starter which was 5p short of £11.
For that we got 4 mushrooms, 2 prawns, 3 tiny pieces of garlic bread, a tiny salad, and a bowl of mayo, along with 7 small olives.
Felt this was pretty poor especially if you compare it to the slightly cheaper zizzi shared starter which is much more substantial.
Complained and had it as a no charge item but wondered if this was a one off or has anyone else tried this starter.

There are ALWAYS 2 for 1 vouchers for ASK online, so I get the impression they bump their prices up as most people use the vouchers (and some unlucky people pay the full price...)!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
A good outcome if they gave it to you FOC, but that sounds rubbish value.0

We were in yesterday with our 2 for £10 voucher, the pasta was nice but not very substantail, the seasoned fries were disappointing n the apple tart was cold instead of warm. That said, the service was really friendly and they were really busy.0

We had the vouchers, had two different sets to cover all menu variations but still dissapointed with the starter. Agree with previous poster regarding prices being raised for everything else. Dont mind if its value for money but when its blatantly not puts you off going back.0

without or without vouchers, I cant stand Ask...very overpriced, and the one in Canterbury have you sitting on the lap of the person next to you.
I find the portions really small (come on, how much does a bowl of pasta and tomato sauce actually cost, yet they give you about 1/2 a tablespoon!)
Much nicer independently run restaurants out there0
