Phone ringing fault - possible BT £130 charge
My phone will not ring properly when connected to the normal socket. When I plug it into the test socket it rings perfectly. So I assume that the fault must be in the Openreach master socket and I reported this to BT via their chatline. The BT guy suggests that the problem could be "my wiring" and that they would charge…

Whoe phone number is it that keeps making spam phonecalls to me?
They are coming through at a rate of several a week from: 0001235943946 I've tried a couple of the "who called me?" websites and that number didnt come up. Obviously a spam caller - as it sounds a bit far away (like it might be coming from abroad and they are never speaking in British accents). Also it takes a while of me…

Bill Haggling Website
Hi, I am a software developer and I thought of a service which may be of use to you... How about a website which does the bill haggling for us? Not everyone has the time to spend ages talking to people on the other end of the phone. The website would take any details required by sky/bt/etc and would do the negotiations on…

I changed my phone provider today. I was issued a new number. I got a call this evening & it was an automated voice asking to speak to Laura someone. Virgin Media Box as Freeview box?
Hi all, I am coming to the end of my contract with Virgin Media. After a great deal of going between Sky and Virgin to see who had the best deals, I must say I wasn't particularly impressed with either! The man from Virgin Media is phoning me back in around an hours time to confirm the deal he is offering me (I wanted to…

Cancelling Vigin Media and partner signing up - Fraud?
I've recieved a letter from Virgin Media stating that my price is increasing for my phone and broadband. I questioned why they wouldn't do this for me, a customer of 14 years to which I was…
