Paid PCN within 3d by post but notice to pay full amount received.
Dad got a parking ticket in mid Feb. Paid by posting a cheque (£55) in the council provided envelope within a few days. Thought nothing of it until a notice came about non payment and 14d period has expired and £110 is now due. Was not posted recorded delivery but was first class. Advice please?

POPLA decision allowed but keep getting letters
I sorted a POPLA appeal a while back and my appeal was allowed and it said the operator should now cancel the parking charge. However since then I gave received two more letters the latest a 'notice of intended court action'. Am I ok to just ignore these extra letters because of my POPLA appeal?
