Parking fine Asda
Hi I have read the newbie thread but just want to be sure I have understood correctly. I received a ticket on the windscreen at asda 2 weeks ago due to the ticket I purchased being blown off the dashboard on the windiest day I've ever experienced and me not realising. So I have the windscreen ticket plus the ticket I…

Parking Eye parking charge - please help!
I am sorry to start another new thread but I have been reading through the forum and can't seem to find anything similar to my situation. A couple of weeks ago I went out for dinner with my dad in Southampton (I was driving my own car) and we couldn't find anywhere to park in town so I parked on the Town Quay. It was about…

POPLA Appeal Help Please! and Queries
Hi Everyone, Recently the car park at my place of work was put under management by our landlord. I had hoped to have these cancelled by our landlord (they are normally very fair) however on this occasion they refused to cancel all of them. I've decided not to part with my money for paying these tickets. Unfortunately my…

Received Parking Eye Parking Charge Notice - From xxx NHS Polyclinic
Hello all, I received a Parking Charge Notice from the dreadful company Parking Eye on the 03/01/2014. I have read through many forums and links that you have provided but still require some reassurance on how to proceed. Below is the standard jargon I guess they send to everyone who falls victim of ParkingEye bullying &…

Proof of delivery private parking charge
Any similar experience? Parking charge notice received one day outside of the fourteen day period. I have emailed to state and quote the relevant act. Am conscious the wording says that post age is presumed to take two days unless proved otherwise. What constitutes proof? My word is obviously just my word against theirs. I…

PCN attached to Windscreen
Hi, Just registered on MSE today - "NEWBIE". Received a windscreen PCN from SIP Car parks around 19 days ago. I guess there will be hassle now from this company, as the car was parked in their car park without a ticket. The notices were not seen when the car was parked parked and at the time there was no indication a…

How long before poking PE for a response?
PE sent a relative an invoice. They sent back the parking cowboy template letter amended for their circumstances. Seemed fair. One template letter for another ;) Date of incident was early December and they only received the PCN on the 14th day. When should they prod PE into a response as I'm thinking they are planning…

A light hearted, shoe on other foot thread
My office area has some private land but locals often use it for parking to avoid paying for the nearby council parking. Anybody who does this gets a very hard to remove sticker stuck to their windscreen informing them that it is private land (as per obvious signage) and that they will receive a fine - a threat that is…

UKPC - do they really do court? by parking prankster
The court cases alleging victory by UKPC on their website has often been commented upon on this forum as being untrue and unfounded: http://www.ukpcappeals.co.uk/legal Parking Prankster's Blog also confirms this to be the case as these cases all mysteriously date from 2009 and all from Maidstone County Court.…

Tailgating to avoid barrier
Just got back from my winter break and I witnessed something at one of Heathrow's multi-floor car parks. Up went the barrier and two cars came out, the second just avoiding contact with a dropping barrier. This was an NCP. I didn't get the reg and I don't implicate myself in such things but does NCP have a case against…

Private estate, problem with dumped cars. I know the local council and DVLA can remove vehicles from private land in certain circumstances but as the law currently stands are there any options open to the landowner themselves to remove dumped vehicles or even move them elsewhere on the same site? thank you.
