Private estate, problem with dumped cars.
I know the local council and DVLA can remove vehicles from private land in certain circumstances but as the law currently stands are there any options open to the landowner themselves to remove dumped vehicles or even move them elsewhere on the same site?
thank you.

Also check your council's policy as some will remove abandoned vehicles from private land with the landowner's consentThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Thanks, that link is very useful.:T
The local authority will remove vehicles but the individual concerned is an old hand at playing the game and knows just what to do to keep them at bay.0 -
Not all Councils or Police services can/will act though:

''Section 55 allows regulations to be made under section 99 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Such regulations will extend the powers of the police to remove vehicles from all areas of private land (not only roads, as is presently the case) where they are illegally, obstructively or dangerously parked or broken down.
