my neighbour got a similar invoice and ignored all letters. The company rang her though which I find quite strange. She said that they can get your number from the DVLA is this true???? Also if they do ring what do I tell them??? Do I tell them to politely get lost or what??

Will the dvla continue to pursue someone for driving without tax AFTER they finally get a new disc some 3 months late? It wasn't an oversight, the driver made a financial decision not to pay the tax until they had money to pay it.
