fine due but dvla have my licence

hi i posted this query on another part of the forum but believe it better suited here
i recently recieved a spot fine of 6 poins and a 200 pounds fine, however my photocard licence is at the dvla being renewed and i dont think ill have it back in time for my fine due date.
paying the finr is not a problem but of course the court want the two parts of the licence when paying
is there any way round this situation to avoid any further trouble ?
