Ok, so I'm now on my 'Notice of intended litigation' letter from Graham White solicitors.
Cost now £207.25 for a ticket in a free car park.
Frightened (and don't mind admitting it) by the thought of baliffs entering my house or damage to my credit rating as want to move house in the next couple of years.
Presumably this is all part of their plan but I would appreciate some sensible advice as to what to do next. Pay up or continue holding out?
Thanks in advance, BFS x

The only way bailiffs will be coming is if Graham White took you to court *and* you lost *and* you didn't pay within 28 days *and* they wanted to cough up and employ bailiffs (they're not cheap).
You've more chance of growing a second head.0 -
Usual bluff from Graham White! He has "intended to litigate" thousands of times, funnily enough he never has! Tried once but never turned up!0

Bailiffs cannot enter your house unless the case has been taken to court, you have lost, you have not paid the judgement and they have then obtained a further order to allow bailiffs to enter and seize goods.
It is all scaremongering. Don't pay them a penny. You have already stated it was a free car park so why should you pay a penny for something that was free?"You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

Yeh, the whole notice of "INTENDED" litigation thing just sounds silly. Me, my father AND my brother have all received this very letter titled 'NOTICE OF INTENDED LITIGATION" with a big bold font. Nothing happened with any of us.
I received one letter after this and also a phone-call from Michael Sobell, lol. I just told him I didn't know what he was talking about and hung up. That was in April 2011 and I haven't heard from them since.0 -
Thanks everyone.
Just what i needed to hear.0 -
Dont worry about the filthy scumbags there so desparat to get yor cash they will use there legal looking letters to fool you into filling up there greaasy bank account! totolly ignore the scumbags and they will go away very upset they havent ripped you off.PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue. :eek:0

Can't even be bothered to add anything because it's all in the sticky threads already and that letter is there in pics at the top of the forum. How on earth can anyone be scared of predicted letters, you can just see which one comes next and play snap with it.
Yes I have played PPC snap before and it's really easy. It's frustrating to see how people can be still scared when they must have come here and surely before posting, read the sticky threads, seen the letter-chains and watched the Watchdog video. It's so clear this is a computerised mail scam, surely, once you come to this forum and read the sticky threads first?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
