I forgot to display my blue disabled badge at The white rose centre leeds. Upon returning to my car the bloke from anchor was there issuing the ticket, i showed him my badge, and i explained i had forgot to put it in windscreen . He confirmed my badge was in order but said i would have to appeal, he said he would put a note on the ticket.
Is anchor po box 3697 , chester ch1 9rt safe to ignore???
Do i appeal the ticket citing the above
or ignore full stop ??????????
Ticket says . parking in disabled bay without clearly displaying a valid blue badge

Just ignore, it's as simple as that! What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I just wanted to make sure Anchor were not one of the few that had succeeded in court. I cant have any blips on my credit rating should anything ever go to court0
-
For your credit rating to be harmed it would have to go to court (very unlikely) you lose (very, very unlikely) and then you fail to pay whatever the judge orders within 28 days. This is such a remote possibility that it's not worth worrying about. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

You didn't - The Blue Bagde scheme does not apply here. Why not read the handbook you got with it? This is clearly stated.
Absolute balderdash! As well as ignoring the ticket, I hope you go and put a bomb under the centre management for allowing such discrimination to be allowed in their name - This is a serious matter covered by the Equality Act that could result in their prosecution.0 -
Ignore the PPC and ignore the shopping centre which are foolish enough to want to harass their customers0

Why could I complain under the Equality Act. I might draft an email to the white rose shopping centre, please can you enlighten on the things I need to say0 -
I never said it was the same company.
What happens is these companies have to tender for the contract, that tender is on what percentage the shopping centre gets back in scam money.
Do you really think anyone after scamming you is going to pay the blindest bit of attention to a letter.
They will just contact the parking company wanting to know why they have not collected the money.
It is called bringing yourself on top.
safety is in numbers, hundreds ignore Private parking tickets every week, some ignore them then goad the company.
Never forget they can take you to court, they may not win the case, but you still have to turn up at court and face the worry.
Take good advice when given, this is not a fight you can win, they make the rules, they decide who wins.
That advice is IGNORE:
Writing letters is not ignoring, it is asking for it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

How about Section 29 of the Equality Act 2010 for starters:'Provision of Services and Public Functions'
In addition to the general prohibitions provided by the Act, section 29 deals specifically with the provision of services. Under section 29, a service provider must not refuse to provide a service to a person with a protected characteristic and must also not discriminate in the terms on which the service is provided, by terminating the service, or by subjecting the service user to any other detriment. i think i will remain quiet, however as no one has any experience of this company it does worry me somewhat0

Far from it, you just needed to Google a bit more. You are not alone!
I searched 'Anchor Roxburghe' and nothing really came up, then I tried 'Anchor Debt Recovery Plus' and got a result at the second guess! I was just going to search each well-known debt collector until I found a thread to show you, as I knew there had certainly been people happily ignoring Anchor tickets before, on here and on pepipoo.
Anyway, you will see that I replied to you on your other thread to tell you it's Debt Recovery Plus letters this year for you (and Zenith and PCS, other trading names of the same firm):

The letter-chains for them are already in pics several times on the top thread. Just stop looking specifically for Anchor/Care and just look more widely at DRP letter-chains generally, as used by several other PPCs.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
