I'm probably going to make a lot of stuff and have a bit of lamb. ;) any secrets? :o

Ok I use red lentils to pad out dishes and that's about it! I'd love to cook more with them but I'm so confused buy the different types and what to use them with. Are tinned as good/cheap as normal dried? And what's the difference between red and green! What can I make apart from lentil soup? Any help would be great!

Hi, sorry this has probably already been discussed so admin please merge if I'm asking a repeat question. Anyway, as the title says, the fabric conditioner isn't getting through the washing machine drawer. I've tried soda crystals, bicarbonate, bleach, vinegar and a steam clean. My machine also has a self clean programme…

Camping OS
Hello! I hope this is in the right place. I'm going camping with my boyfriend next month for a few nights. We won't have an electric hook up but there is an onsite shop which sells emergency brews. We have the basics, a tent/sleeping bag/roll mats, but neither of us has camped properly before and I was wondering what we…

Cake baking problems
Have always used my moulinex food processor to make cakes - they always come out perfect. Have now splashed out on a Kenwood Kmix mixer and now all my cakes collapse quite a bit when they come out of the oven - they usually taste just about OK but they are never as light and large as my previous ones. Has anyone else had…

Vitamix - your best recipes?
I've been given a Vitamix by a friend who never used it. I've sent her a big chocolate hamper to say thank you as I know they are very pricey. So far I have made juices, smoothies and soups - and I think I will use it mostly for soup - yesterday I whizzed up left over cauliflower cheese, a courgette from the garden, a…
