Cake baking problems

Have always used my moulinex food processor to make cakes - they always come out perfect. Have now splashed out on a Kenwood Kmix mixer and now all my cakes collapse quite a bit when they come out of the oven - they usually taste just about OK but they are never as light and large as my previous ones. Has anyone else had tis problem and how did hey solve it please?
