Vitamix - your best recipes?

I've been given a Vitamix by a friend who never used it. I've sent her a big chocolate hamper to say thank you as I know they are very pricey.
So far I have made juices, smoothies and soups - and I think I will use it mostly for soup - yesterday I whizzed up left over cauliflower cheese, a courgette from the garden, a spoonful of frozen onion and some stock and it made a delicious lunch for two.
I wondered if anyone used it for anything else that I could try - I can find recipes online but am really wondering what people actually find it useful for and have experience of making. Any Vitamix (or similar high speed blender) fans out there?

You lucky thing, what a gift! I used to have one, and made sauces, custards, icecream, sorbets etc and of course Mojito'sI also used it to 'mince' meat etc, but be careful or it will become paste - just play and enjoy it
For me, it didn't do enough, so I sold it and bought a Thermomix, which suits me better, but each to their ownNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

I will kill for a Vitamix, you lucky thing!
I have a much less powerful blender and make all sorts in mine. Cheese sauces (using cashew nuts), other sauces, ice cream (using bananas and any other fruit), smoothies, drinks etc.
Have fun!0 -
Don't forget - it's possible to make your own flour in them.
Am reminded - as I've just finished eating another bit of chocolate brownie that has rice flour as one of the ingredients (no problemo = bit of brown rice blitzed in it briefly):)0 -
Thanks all - I know I have been lucky! Am about to google cashew nut cheese sauce!Downshifted
