I must be missing something blindingly obvious - Henry Hoover
Re my recent purchase of one - I'm getting more than a little fed-up with the fact that the "head" keeps coming off when hovering (ie several times per room on average). Is it me - and I've missed something blindingly obvious that I have to twiddle to make sure it stays on unless I deliberately take it off? The bit I mean…

Do you still do the Lottery?
I've done the same line since it began. Now tickets are £2 a line this is costing me £4 a week, that's £208 a year. I do not do any other form of gambling. The lotto is changing slightly now in that you choose 6 numbers from 1 to 59 thus decreasing our chances of winning the jackpot. I really want to stop but there's…

Sloe gin tips please!
Guess what I'm making! :) My girls and I picked a load of sloes a few weeks ago. At least we think they're sloes. But I'm concerned people I've spoken to and other threads here on the Forum have said…

A Life Stripped Bare
I bought this from the chazza years ago, and to my shame have only got round to reading it recently. It offers lots of suggestions for change, and importantly made me think about where products are sourced from vs price. (Child slavery is a particular bugbear of mine).
