Plant pot has left a water atain of woodwork

Options
I foolishly a ceramic pot containing a pot plant which was given to me which I thiught was waterproof, on a wooden surface. Having watered it a couple of times I now find it has left an awful water stain on the teak woodwork.

Any ideas how I can treat it to reduce the eyesore it has left?

Given my username I thought I really must reply; let it dry out, then oil it and rub in , repeat if needed. Assuming the wood isn't varnished.

the other thing that you can do (this often works on tea cup stains etc...)is to use a 'soggy' cloth (with just water - no detergent) and give the whole top of the item a good clean with the soggy cloth, then when it drys it should dry out evenly, stain removed - if heavily stained may need a could of attempts. However soggy cloth not sopping wet, as the grain may lift if too wet

I am not sure if this will work on Teak but it worked for me on Oak. Use a dry cloth and a warm/hot iron and iron the white mark away.
