Re my recent purchase of one - I'm getting more than a little fed-up with the fact that the "head" keeps coming off when hovering (ie several times per room on average).
Is it me - and I've missed something blindingly obvious that I have to twiddle to make sure it stays on unless I deliberately take it off?
The bit I mean is:

and is the "Henry combination floor tool" and it keeps falling off the silver tube bit.

With vacuums in the past, I've used electrical or duct tape to hold them on. It can be very annoying!:AStarting again on my own this time!! - Defective flylady! :A0

Is it coming off just past the silver bend? Where it goes into the black tube? Mine falls apart there unless I wedge it in really hard. Other than I love my Henry!Credit Card debt £10247.17 1/1/20200

You just need to wedge it on really, really firmly. One of the bits of mine was doing that too but then I realised I just wasn't being forceful enough with it.
Once you get it on properly, try keeping that bit on and disconnecting further up the shaft at the next junction, if that makes sense.
And if you are sure you aren't doing something wrong and you think there may be a fault, get in touch with the retailer. Henry's are so solidly made that if you do get it on properly it should not come off.
Oh, another thing I have noticed too is that if you are sticking it back on, switch the hoover off while you do it. If you try to do it while the hoover is actually running, I don't know if it is because air gets in around the connection or something, but it is more likely to fall off again.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. Yep...that's it.
Will try really shoving it together very firmly then - and, if its still a problem, then hoover off first before re-doing.
