Where To Buy Meat? Free range?
Morning all, I have stopped buying chicken because I find it tasteless and boring and generally quite chewy (admittedly this could be the way I cook it :D ). Anyway, I have often wondered whether it is best to buy 'free range' or organic and if so, does it taste better? And do these labels actually mean a better product.…

Ox Cheeks
Morning all, I have finally persuaded my butcher to save some Ox Cheeks from the mincer, the only problem is now im not sure what to do with them. I know they will make a lovely stew, but is it as simple as swapping the meat (usually shin) in my regular recipe? Do they need some sort of special treatment, or longer cooking…
