How to store peeled potatoes?
I seem to be peeling potatoes a lot recently, and I was wondering if it was possible to peel a bag at a time, and store them for throughout the week. I have tried to put them in the fridge after peeling them, in a tight sealed food storage box, the next morning they was black! whole bag wasted. Any ideas? maybe freeze them?

For those who completed decluttering/dehoarding, how long did it take?
Our family has dedicated 2013 to clearing out the house, so much has left but you would never know it! Has anyone got any success stories to share with those of us still battling the tide of 'stuff'

Does you always water bath homemade sauces etc
Hi I have just made six 1L kilner jars of apple pie filling :) The recipe is American and it says to water bath it afterwards for 25 minutes in a canner. I don't have a pot tall enough to cover the 1L kilner jars. I have boiled the apples for much longer than the recipe called for, so can I get away with not water bathing…

I made courgette crisps last night
I found a solitary courgette in the fridge last night - I don't like them but decided to cook it for my husband. I was re-heating some lamb stew in the oven and didn't want to use the stove. I decided to slice the courgette, lay it in a buttered earthenware dish and then I sprinkled some crushed cheesy cracker crumbs over…
