Bath bombs turned grey!!!
Hi all Today I made my first ever batch of bath bombs using a recipe from the superscrimpers tv show. It involved bicarbonate of soda, cream of tartar, olive oil, Rose petals, essential oil and food colouring. I mixed it all up and pressed into ice cube moulds as shown in the tv. They looked and smelt fab. I then put them…

Cheap Button Batteries
Some home electronic gizmos use these half inch thin 'button batteries'. If you go to High Street shops and supermarkets you can pay ££££'s for each one. Fed up of this I used the internet (Amazon eg.) and got a dozen for the price I'd paid before for one! Also today I found that the shop "B & M" sold 8 in a pack for 99p.…

Tomorrow, the lovely man from B&Q will be putting the finishing touches to my new black and cream gloss kitchen. Putting washing powder in the drum
I'm thinking about getting bargain washing powder from an Ebay seller I saw recommended in this forum (have already bought dishwasher powder and I'm very happy with it). However, I've been using liquid for a few years because it dissolves better. I wonder if I should dissolve the powder in warm water and stick it straight…
