Hi all, I know this is a bit of a long shot. My brother is autistic and so is on a gluten/dairy free diet but my parents found a really nice gluten free fajitah mix... the problem is that they can't find any gluten free tortilla wraps so my poor brother just has to eat his fajitah mix off a palte with some salad and condiments.
I searched and found this recipe:

which could be edited slightly by using Doves Farm gluten free flour, but my mum can't get that on prescription for my brother so it's an extra expense. It also has milk in it. That might be substitutable for soya milk but changing 2 things might alter the recipe too much... I don't know.
Does anyone have a gluten and/or dairy free recipe they know definitely works and tastes nice so that my brother can enjoy wrapping his own fajitahs? TIA xx

not sure if they will be of any use but a few to try if you don't get any more suggestions.Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.0 -
Look for Corn Tortilla, these should be wheat free (do check ingredients, as some may be hybrid of corn and wheat flours) and most recipes don't contain milk.
Alternatively you could look for masa harina, this is a flour made from corn used to make tortilla and is usually just mixed with warm water to make a simple dough before rolling for making tortilla

I went on an Indian cookery course a while back and one of the things we made were chapatis. We used gram flour made from chick peas and widely available. It was so simple to make it was ridiculous and they can be frozen if you want to make a batch of them.
