Decluttering but leaving some personality in your home
Hi, I was discussing this with my friend earlier today. A lot of people have Kindles today (I don't have one by the way), someone at work has one and says she is going to get rid of all her books. I would find this hard to do, yes if I'd got loads and loads of books but for the amount I have I would rather leave them there…

Apple and chilli jelly
I have spent the last hour making half a dozen jars of gorgeous tasting apple and chilli jelly - first time I've done this. However, all the little bits of chilli are sitting at the top of the jars rather than 'floating, jewel-like' (according to the book:D) through the jelly. What have I done wrong and can I do anything…

It was given to me by a lovely lady on Freecycle and she believes it's from the 1940s, and it's still in great shape and works perfectly. I love it. Anyway while I…

Homemade Mustard Help
Hi all, wonder if you can help me. A few months ago I came across a site(?) that showed how to make mustard. From what I can remember it was basically put various colours of mustard seed into a jar, cover with cider vinegar and leave - shaking every couple of days. And the flavours of mustard could be customised. I want to…
