Zippy please feel free to merge this later if I get any replies. :D I made too much chocolate frosting when I made OH's birthday cake yesterday, and thought it would make a nice biscuit filling. Now I know I could just make an empire biscuit type thing and put cocoa powder in, but I just wondered if anyone had a tried and…

Where to buy cheap staple ingredients?
Hi all, I've been lurking around here a while now, taking all your advice. Including buying a slow cooker and venturing into cheaper cuts of meat etc. With great success so thankyou! Been given a 1.5 litre Slow Cooker
A friend of mine has given me a slow cooker he has bought a bigger one to cook for him and his Mum. I live alone so I should imagine it will be big enough for me, being I have never had one before I haven't a clue how to make the best use of it, so I would be grateful for any advise and suggestions. Thanks

£57 for food for the rest of the month
Ok so as the title says I have £57 left to spend on food for the rest of the month. Not sure if this is going to be do-able so I…
