Made a cake and forgot to add the sugar! yuk!
My daughter and I made a cake this morning. We took it out of the oven when it had finished cooking, it looked lovely. We waited until it had cooled to try a piece and....yuk! We'd forgotten the sugar! Is there anything we can do to save it from the dustbin?

What do I do with cold roast pork ?
We have quite a lot of cold roast pork left over from yesterday's roast. I can get OH to eat it as sandwiches, but then never know what else to do with it. It doesn't seem to make a nice 'shepherd's/swineherd's pie' - I've tried using it minced to do stuffed peppers with but that's not very tasty. What do other people do…

In praise of crumbs
I found the article below in an Italian environmental magazine that I subscribe to and when I read it I was really moved by the simple wisdom it contained. I contacted the author, who is happy for this to be copied freely, as he does not believe in copyright. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did, perhaps we can all…

I have been given 210gm, flour, sugar and butter with 5 eggs, but have found this really only makes a deep 6'' one. The other day i doubled the quantity but used 10 eggs, which does seem excessive, but I am open to advice
