Ripe peaches and nectarines!!

Options
Help I need ideas
I have 4 ripe nectarines and 4 ripe peaches in the fridge which are in danger of going to waste. I am the only one who will eat them and I know I won't eat that many before they go bad.

Any recipe ideas? Particularly anythng I could freeze?

Thanks xx

Not sure....make a puree and freeze. Then thaw out and use for a smoothie. Puree as a topping for ice cream?
Poach in a little liquid and serve with yoghurt? Where do you live i'll help you eat them!

Chop them up and put in an oven proof dish with maybe some extra fruit and make a crumble? Crumble is 4oz of flour, 2oz of butter & 2oz of sugar. Rub the fat into the flour until it looks like breadcrumbs then stir in the sugar. Pour over the top of your fruit and cook until golden. Yummy :D You can also freeze the fruit & crumble mixture seperately it works very well.

Chop & cook up in pan and use as compote. Can be frozen too. Yummy.

Make a peach trifle, or peach/nectarine preserve or jam

If you puree and freeze them, make sure you pack in smallish amounts if you want to use them in smoothies. Even freeze on a tray so that the puree is easily broken up so you can take out just the amount you require.
