I'm not sure if this is allowed but I was browsing the food magazines while waiting for the train and it was this month's delicious or Good Food where there is a sticky peanut popcorn recipe to be served as half of a desert. I don't suppose anyone who subscribes could copy it here? Thanks :)

Does rice do this to you too, and how to avoid it?
Not sure if OS is the right place for this, so apologies to the BGs... I've had a very simple but tasty wholegrain rice dish for lunch, and loved every bit of it. I would have rice more often, but after a couple of hours of eating it I start feeling really sharp hunger pangs. I mean real HUNGER, and only rice does that to…

Have you ever been on a cookery course?
If so (doesn't matter what course, when, where, the level of difficulty) I'd love to hear your views on.... Did the teacher/tutor demonstrate and cook at the same time as you - so you and the tutor ended up with a finished article, or did they not cook at all? Just show you how to chop etc? Did they gather you around and…

Indecisive about money-saving on lunches.
Hello. Could do with some help on deciding cheapest/healthiest route to go please. For lunch each day OH and I take sandwiches (him 2, me 1) plus 1 apple and 1 orange. However, I'm trying to decide if it would be cheaper to take something homebaked rather than the fruit. Trying to cost certain recipes for scones etc but it…

Smelly Bathroom Drain help
Hi I have a level access bathroom, with a shower, that drains into the floor. This has become very smelly - probably old hair and disgusting stuff. What suggestions to people have regarding cleaning it. It runs into the same drain as the toilet, so will end up in the sewerage system, but I'd rather not buy something…

Baking utensil - name?!
My hands really ache when I'm rubbing butter/flour together to use in recipes (scones, rock cakes etc). My mum used to have a baking utensil that did the job but I don't know what it was?! It was D shaped - the handle was the straight bit & it was either wood or plastic, and the curved bit was 3 or 4 metal strips? I've…

take the itch out my trousers?
I work for ASDA, we need to wear the trousers provided, problem is that they make me itch like crazy at the top of my legs and my crotch area. They are the right size but made of that cheap trousers stuff, cheaper than the material used in the £5 George trousers we sell. My question is is there any way to take the itch out…

Maybe the wonderful OSers can help me - toothpaste stain on a knitted cotton top
Is there anything I can do? My favourite jumper and I got toothpaste on it, and it hasn't come off in the wash. I hate to say it but it almost looks like it's bleached the fabric - is there anything I can do? I will be gutted if it's ruined forever :( :( :(

Keeping parsley fresh
I was given a large amount of parsley today from my green grocer and there's enough to last me a few weeks. What's the best way to preserve it, it's still on the stock. I've read a few methods, like freezing it (unwashed) in an air tight container, storing it unwashed in an air-tight container or placing it in water like…
