Maybe the wonderful OSers can help me - toothpaste stain on a knitted cotton top

Is there anything I can do? My favourite jumper and I got toothpaste on it, and it hasn't come off in the wash. I hate to say it but it almost looks like it's bleached the fabric - is there anything I can do? I will be gutted if it's ruined forever

Try soaking it in some warm water and gently swishing plenty of water through it.
Depending upon the toothpaste, it could have affected the fabricOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
