Saving vegetables!
OK I have a few questions regarding vegetables/fruit I currently chop and freeze raw onions for use at future date, seem to work fine, is garlic ok to do? Chop or freeze cloves whole? Tomatoes - use around 12 or so a week for salads, but only use part of them (not keen on the middle green bit) so that ends up in the bin…

I have been inspired by all the posts on OS and cooked a vegetable soup, a chicken soup, artisan bread and a few fish pies, my small freezer is now full, I do have a chest freezer in the outside shed, but it's been empty and unused for about a year. Question about slow cooker

Most booklets suggest using 'high' setting if cooking meat and this definitely burns my roasts. Even if I use the low setting I still find…
