in Old style MoneySaving
I am not known for my cooking skills but as today is lovely I thought I would have a bash at something a bit more "Summery". I have leftovers from yesterdays roast chicken and I was thinking about slicing up some courgettes,mushrooms and fry with some garlic, chuck in a tin of tomatoes and the chicken and cook until it looks/smells ready. I was going to serve it with either pasta or rice , hopefully to feed 2 kids and 2 adults .

Do you think it sounds ok? Or have I missed something ?

    Sounds fine to me, I would add some mixed herbs, sweetcorn and a few peas.

    I think it sounds yummy, should be pretty well seasoned with just a bit of garlic too.... will have to try it sometime. Will depend on whether you have enough chicken to stretch it to 4 people, maybe add some onion too? Good luck!!
