weaning spoon
hi i made purreed carrot yesterday for dd and the weaning spoon has stained orange. it's made of soft silicone what can i use to clean it? i've tried milton and that didn't work. any ideas? thanks

Curry and courgette ?
Right I have half a courgette (sp?) in the fridge and I'm cooking a curry in the slow cooker, do you think it be ok to use in thee or will it go "slimey"? Just seems a shame not to use it really. TIA Queenpig.

For the next shop I have decided to buy the Value version of whatever is on my list. I will at least try the value version once and if I don't like it I will move up to the next expensive and so on until I find the best version of what I want. Cleaning wax / or cheap ear plugs
I go through a lot of ear plugs because of my job. I was wondering, when the wax gets dirty perhaps there's a way of cleaning them? Alternatively, perhaps there's a way to make ear plugs on the cheap?

Well we had Roast Chicken for Sunday lunch and today I used the slow cooker with aheap of veggies to make a casserole. I still have some left over , can I just reheat again for tomorrows supper or am I pushing my luck ????

Frozen Summer Fruits help!
Hi guys Ive got some Tesco Summer Fruits that Ive defrosted to put on top of a cheesecake - but they are sooo sharp!!! Ive poured on some sugar but they are still too sharp!! Is this normal for these frozen fruits? Ive never had them before? any suggestions as to what to do with them?:confused:

why aren't my chips crunchy?
please help! cutting up potatoes into chip shapes, putting them in water for an hour or two. getting them out, drying them thoroughly heating oil to 190 degrees, cooking chips till light brown re-heating oil to 190 degrees, cooking chips till they look done eating them asap but still not crunchy :( what am I doing wrong?…
