Right I have half a courgette (sp?) in the fridge and I'm cooking a curry in the slow cooker, do you think it be ok to use in thee or will it go "slimey"? Just seems a shame not to use it really.

Yes, definitely you can.
Courgettes have a very bland taste and can be added to any vegetable dish.0 -
I love them in curry. I do them with prawns in a curry sauce. Mmm.... Want a curry for dinner tonight now!0

I prefer my courgettes crunchy (undercooked i guess) so I tend to add them towards the end of anything I'm cooking. If you prefer them with a bit more bite, you could try adding them later on?
This thread has made me want curry now!Very excited to be marrying my partner in crime for the last 7 years in September 2012 :jNo longer a midlandsfairy... back living in the sunny south!0 -

Hello - if you're still there. I like courgette but not in anything that makes it go slimey as you said. I'm having curry tonight and have got two courgettes lurking in the fridge - I'm going to thinly slice them (a bit diagonal if you know what I mean) and fry them in olive oil, garlic and chilli. It makes them nice and crispy and a lovely side dish. Just a thought!0
