Home organizer
I've picked up lots of tips from all you clever bods, but one of the best was the idea for a home organizer file. I've started one using a reduced price ring binder file, complete with dividers that I picked up ages ago. I've filled it with charts and info sheets that I found as free printoffs from a site called…

Hello there Last year I bought new loo brushes in nice chrome holders. I have had to chuck them out now as the brushes are all brown with rust. I think the bristles are held inside by wire which rusts. Any suggestions or do I need to keep replacing them. Thanks xxxDxxx

Where to buy foil dishes / trays / containers cheaply?
I started my grocery challenge this week and even with lining trays with food bags for liquids then reusing them I have nearly run out of the few foil trays I had. I really want foil as I like them being able to go in the oven for lasagnes etc but the only place I'd ever seen them was lakeland and just look at the prices!…

Slightly embarrassing
I dithered about putting this on the DIY board, but I don't think I can manage a 'proper' solution. The rubber feet/pads on my loo seat are starting to perish. Only slightly, but enough to make them stick slightly. Next week I'll be visited by a bloke with a weak bladder, and I really don't want him wondering what's…

Cheap meals using a microwave, grill and hob?
Help! We've just moved house and the kitchen is horrific! We're due to have a new one fitted in about 3 weeks, but until then all I've got is a hob and my microwave. The microvave has got a grill in, but it's really only powerful enough for browning things. Apart from spag bol/chilli type mince dishes and stir fries I'm…
