Just finished knitting a cotton jumper from my unpicked wool. I now have 500gm of DK cotton but no pattern. Yoghurt making questions
Hi, I've just bought the Tchibo yoghurt maker and wasn't entirely clear about the instructions. If I use UHT milk do I need to heat it first? Also it says that the milk and the yoghurt you use as a starter must have EXACTLY the same fat content or the yoghurt will be runny. Is this true or will nearly the same do the…

Farm Foods
I know that most of you OSers probably know about Farm Foods, but for the first time today I ventured in here because over on the SBDD board they said that they had Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream 2 tubs for £2. I was intrigued and so went in, always avoiding FarmFoods until now because I thought they only sold processed stuff.…

Shopping, meals and other tips!
After the other menu planning/shopping list thread predictably ended in the usual arguments then closure, I thought I'd start a thread asking what works for you? Maybe we can all pick up tips from each other. Personally I never do meal plans. I enjoy food, and prefer cooking what I or another family member fancies that…
