Morning jayarr and all that follow.

I was hanging around waiting for someone to start the thread, I was too :o tostart the thread as I never really have anything interesting to say:o

Had a busy day yesterday, went to Ashford, Folkstone, Dover, Sevenoaks then Brighton and I didnt get stuck on the M25 once:T But I did miss a turning on the M25 which meant I had to go all the way to Godstone and back again:mad: Nevermind:confused:

Sasbah lady came tea time yesterday she had a reply from the HA but they hadnt responded to her questions at all so she is going to write again:mad:

Had another row with OH last night and I slept on the sofa til 3am then went to bed and today I feel shattered, too much stress I think:confused:

Hope everone is ok today, weather is gloomy here I hope we get more hot weather soon as that makes me feel happier.

    Tut tar for now

I was worried i'd start it and so would a regular and i'd look sooooo silly!!

what a stressful day you had...whenever we go out we get lost and it really stresses me out so you have my sympathy!!

I have a friend who's really struggling with her housing situation-neighbours have been violent towards her-until a ouple of weeks ago they were shooting at her with an air rifle as she stood at the door..police advised her to leave immediately and the local council are refusing to rehouse or move the people involved and the council big-bod says that he doesnt see it as a prob cos 'kids wlays do his type of thing' (shooting at hpuses with air rifles)..ok..except this was adults, shooting at people..really upsets me that i cant do much to help..

went to cinema with daughter to see 'super ex girlfriend'..free ofcourse!!..was ok, bit disappointed with it really..

came home and husband blew his top at both kids..big style, and kind of spoiled the day..ah well..should be used to it by now..

hope you and oh make up soon

    take care!

    Hello all!

thanks for starting the thread Jay arr!

Ageandjo - have not been keeping up with the story on the HA - what is Sasbah? Sorry your sleeping arrangements not as good as usual - why do YOU have to sleep on the sofa?!

Weather also gloomy here, but at least not hot and sweaty here at w**k!

HAve decided to really get into doing food to take to work rather than buy all this processed rubbush. So off to supermarket tonight to buy ingredients to make up individual cottage pies, lasagne etc. Does anyone have any ideas on suitable containers to either make the individdual portions in and then heat in microwave at work, or alternatively to dish cooled portions into to then freeze and reheat? Many thanks

Good morning jayrr and ageandjo, and everyone who follows!!!!

I too have been waiting for the thread to start, last time it was late i cross posted, so didnt want to do that again today!!!!!

Well, another busy day today, although i was chuffed with myself yesterday - i finally got all my accounts up straight :j !!!!! It took me ages, but its a good job done now, and hopefully i will now do it weekly and keep on top of it!!!
Have 3 older ones and a little one here today, its looking like a lovely day, but it is really windy, the letter box keeps opening and slamming shut, so might have to tape it down once the postman has been (or i could confuse him and do it now  ;) ) Think we will go up the park later, we didnt get there yesterday but luckily i hadnt mentioned it to them.
DS has the dentist this afternoon, he needs a filing (does anyone else have probs getting their children to do their teeth properly?) luckily its a baby tooth, and im hoping the shock of having the filing might help him listen to me about how he does his teeth!!!!
Right, little one is here, so better go,
Hope everyone has a lovely day
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Goodmorning everyone,

Well I got the generator today. :jDH will pick it up on the way home. It will save us having to put temporary power up when we build. It cost's nearly as much as the proper power. We do need some power on site for tools etc, and it will come in handy in the future if ever we have a power blackout to run fridge/freezers etc. We often have them in summer as we get wild storms that blow down trees damaging power lines. Aaaah the joy's of summer. :p

Got home around 12.30pm. I wrote up my spending diary for the last few days :D, drew up a new kitchen plan & did other bits and pieces. Have got sweet & sour sausages on for tea tonight.

((((hugs)))) Ageandjo & anyone else in need of them. Had some yoghurt after my sandwich for lunch. Squeezed in a bit of strawberry topping but it was still very tart. ;)
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning all!

Just a very quickie, today I'm determined to get this house cleaned, so I've set the timer, and then I'm off this site for the day!!:D

(((hugs))) to those that need them.

jockettuk Good luck today! It'll be worth the inevitable hassle, honestly;) Then just think, you'll be able to have a much-earned rest!:T

Right I'm off for a quick browse about, then i really do mean business!:rotfl:

You posted while I was typing AussieLass. Glad they had the generator, noneed for footstomping tantrum then?:rotfl: :D

Was a bit grumpy with OH last night. He and the girls went off swimming (I couldn't go as I was at work)....so I was hoping to spend some time with him, told him so, and then he left me to go and fiddle on the PC. Grrrr.

Probably beanie hormones kicking in again. Mind you, I got my own back because aparanetly he couldn't get to sleep because of his cold and my snoring. hehehe

This morning was fine....except after having my usual glass of milk I promptly threw it all back up again before I left the house.

Tea tonight is HM pizza. Yum
