What you/your car need to have in order to scrap a car?
Been a long long time since I last scrapped a car but am probably now going to have to scrap the old one. First off - as far as the documentation goes, I have the old style V5C as in I bought the car in 2008. Something tells me I got a new V5C for it around 2015 though. I'd need to find it and check. It's unlikely i'll be…

Theft and accesses
Hi all, 'You must report thefts, arson or malicious damage to the police and give us the crime reference number within 24 hours.' In a policy document, does this refer to theft OF the vehicle or theft FROM the vehicle? If a car side window is smashed and something worthless is stolen from the car, does the excess come…

New car spec not as described
What are my rights regarding a new car I have just collected from a large dealership? I test drove a car which I was informed had the same specifications as the one I would receive, however there is no reversing camera on my new car and there was definitely one on the one I tried. TIA.

My car is under 3 years old with 14400 miles but the battery has failed to start the car. I phoned Lookers…

MOT Advice please
Do all garages have the same MOT guidelines? Or could one garage say it depends on who ‘checked’ it over? My car was due it’s service & MOT and it failed it’s MOT on rear axel bushes & emissions.I had 10 days to get it fixed and return it to the Ford garage for a free re-test, under my service/Mot plan. I felt the price…
