Brakes discs, wheel bearing and more- question
Hi I've not been a car owner for long, so some guidance on the fairness or lack of on some quotes would be much appreciated, since I basically have no idea. I took my car, a 1999 fiesta, for a service. They said it needed 1 new front wheel bearing (loose) and both front brake discs changed (corrosion). They wanted a little…

Supermini for <£6k
Hi, Our old (96P) Rover recently failed its MoT and will need more than £500 worth of work to get it fixed (lots of problems - exhaust, brake pipes, suspension bushes, and more), and in pristine condition would be worth about £400. It's not in pristine condition, and also has an intermittant starting problem that's…

Friends and Family Card - does a child have to travel with us?
Just purchased a friends and family card and booked a journey to London, I can only use the card if I book for 2 adults and a child, but does the child have to travel with us? A booking for two adults on it's own was £22, with a child it was £16.60, but will we get a penalty charge if the child isn't with us when we travel?

Medical Exemption from Wearing Seatbelt Post-Op
My fiance has to have an operation, the nature of which means there's no way he'll want to wear a seatbelt on the way home the next day. I would google it but i don't know what to search for so i'll try and describe it here. As if it can't go any further and tries to snap back left. That's…
