From Birmingham. My fiance works up there Mon - Fri and I miss him like crazy. Before I get a new job I'd like to go and stay with him and would like to go up 19/20 Oct and return 26th (so we can spend the weekend together seeing the sights)
I found the train (Nat Express) for £31 last week which was perfect but now it's gone.
and all other fares seem to be £109 which I just haven't got. Megabus do a return (train) for £11 but I have to get a taxi to Birmingham as the local trains don't run early enough to get me there and then get back very late. Taxi could cost £20 each way.
Any suggestions pls?

Because I didn't know to!
Hence me asking on here! What's TOC?
I've looked on Megabus, National Express and National Rail Enquiries - and I thought the last should give me ALL the options.
