Seating Plan for Trans Pennine

Have just booked train tickets for myself and daughter online, from grimsby to manchester airport. Seats were reserved at the time too, however the numbers they have given me are seats 17a and 13a in coach c. Will these seats be near each other (bear in mind i did book 1 adult and 1 child)!! Can't find seating plans anywhere....

Any frequent travellers who may have any ideas??

Contact the company and explain that you need two seats together. Did you ask for window seats? This happened to me last year when I book tickets for Glasgow to London with Virgin but had 2 x 2 seats in separate parts of the carriage (lone parent with 3 children). After two calls (the first saying that I would have to cancel and rebook) the office in London were able to give me new seat numbers over the phone so that we could sit together. Give the number on your tickets a call and don't be fobbed off with cancellation fees just ask to speak to a supervisor or get number for head office. Have a good trip.
