Tesco St. Neots, Cambridgeshire Diesel at 115.9 / litre today
Tesco in St. Neots, Cambridgeshire is selling Diesel at 115.9p / litre today. This must be a misprice as Huntingdon was 121.9p at 5pm. Yesterday's price at St Neots was 122.9p. 115.9p is probably the cheapest in the country so the error will not last! I think they have input the price of Super unleaded by mistake!

3 year car service/MOT
I have a 55 plate KA, so only worth about £3500, and it now needs it's first MOT and a 3 year service. I got a reminder through from the Ford Garage who serviced it last year, who quoted me £175 for their Premier Value Service and MOT (half price if booked at same time as service). I phoned another garage, who wanted £250…

Appeal against private parking notice
Hi, I was issued a parking charge notice by a private company (CP Plus) while I was parked in a hospital car park and was wondering if I should appeal against it. I've read other posts suggesting that I should not do anything until I hear from the company. I parked in the car park while I went in for a appointment. I also…

Car servicing on low mileage
When should I get my Volvo serviced? It used to do (previous owner) good miles, but since I bought it, not so much. I had it serviced last September when it was on 56,000 miles (that was its 60,000 mile service). It has now reached 60,000, because I only drive it for family outings at weekends and occasional other trips.…

HELP! Car engine loses power after 1 minute...
Just picked my VW Golf GTi Mk III up from the garage where it just had a service. When I was on ordinary B roads, it seemed to be fine. However, when I got onto the dual-carriageway and got the car into 4th, it soon started losing power until I came to virtual stand-still. When I started the car again (immediately), it…

Rover 220 won't start
My Rover 220 1996 will not start and makes a clicking noise when I turn the Key. Managed to Jump start it this morning but this afternoon at work it will not start again. I beleive that it could be the alternator not charging the battery or a problem with the battery. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Any way to get short term car insurance?
Hi, We are currently selling both our cars, and getting 2 new ones. In the process, unintentionally we've now ended up with 3 cars which isn't quite what we'd planned. This will only be a temporary situation until we sell one of the old ones, but I will obviously need insurance for all 3 temporarily until then. Is there…
