EE Content Block
Hi All, I have had a contract with EE for a few months (six or seven can't remember exactly) and since I took out the contract their content lock system often blocks websites I try to visit. I have turned it off but the problem persists anyway. The websites it blocks aren't exactly what I'd call explicit- Daily Mirror,…

Using UK phones in the US?
MSE's guide to using mobile phones is excellent, but I have a few questions I'll be going to the California, USA with my family. Will our UK handsets work over there? They are android phones, but they are quite old (e.g. T-Mobile pulse from 2009, ZTE Blade from 2010, Xperia Play 2011) I've found this site which lists US…

Three sim only contracts
I'm struggling to choose between the £10 and £15 a month sim only contracts. Most months I will only use a relatively small amount of data - less than 1GB - so the £10 a month would do. But on the odd occasion tethering might come in handy. Does anyone know if there's an option to add tethering in the months when I might…

O2 working on local mast causing problems
About 3 days ago O2 decided to carry out some work on a local mast. They didn't bother informing customers about this, it was only until my phone wasn't sending/receiving txts, can't make or receive phone calls and not being able to use the internet on my phone. Contacted O2 today asking when the mast would be back up and…

Three PAYG - Experiences?
I'm considering porting my number across to Three due to poor 3G coverage on my current network. I've got a sim, but it's difficult to really test it out (calls and texts wise) when I have a random number attached to it. Loving the data speed so far. The 321 looks like it could save me a bit too. I was just wondering how…

Three evading their responsibilities?
A friend of mine took out a contract with Three on a Samsing S4 mini in September for £29 a month. It was done in store, although it must be made clear that the contract was done online by the store staff for her as there were none of the phones in stock. This was the second store she had tried and neither had any S4 minis…
