Three PAYG - Experiences?
Options
I'm considering porting my number across to Three due to poor 3G coverage on my current network. I've got a sim, but it's difficult to really test it out (calls and texts wise) when I have a random number attached to it. Loving the data speed so far. The 321 looks like it could save me a bit too.
I was just wondering how others have found Three, and particularly, how easy it would be to port back again if I wanted to. Is there a minimum amount of time you have to wait before you can get a PAC? How difficult is it to get one? There are a lot of stories about how difficult they are with their contract customers; are they any easier to get a code out of when you're on PAYG?
Thanks,
Kim

I've been on Three for a few years now and have found them to be pretty good. 5-10 years ago apparently they were a joke, even to the point that I know of at least one hospital where all on-call doctors were banned from using Three.
Now, however, I've found their coverage when I've been living in Liverpool and London perfectly decent, and on the very occasional instance I've used customer service, they haven't done anything completely !!!!!!. That's about the most you can expect from these companies!
The main selling point they have is that they are cheap particularly for data. I snagged a deal about a year ago that has me 2000 minutes and unlimited data for only £15/month. Unfortunately they have now realised how good value that was and upped the price for new customers by £10. If you are likely to go over the 300 minutes of the £15 top up I'd have a good look at the rolling 1 month contracts available as they offer better value and don't lock you in.

Your One Plan is now on borrowed time, expect a call/text from Three in the near future to tell you that your price plan is history and you will be offered the choice of any of the current price plans or your PAC.
